Reference: ASH08723JA Title: Windows Adminstrator Description: The Ashdown Group have been engaged to find a high calibre IT support specialist for an established company based in North Yorkshire. They are seeking to add additional application, server and networking knowledge to their IT team.

The incumbent will take responsibility for the Windows infrastructure including Windows 2003 servers and Windows 7 and Windows XP desktops. Included within this remit will also be the business’s applications, including MS Office, Outlook and an ERP system.

In addition the role takes responsibility for the Exchange server, the network, some networking equipment and daily system monitoring.

This is also a user facing role and will deal with escalated support requests from technical support staff and a user base of 80 people located across three offices.

Any experience of VPN technologies, SQL, Crystal Reports or VMware would be beneficial.
This is an established company with an experienced team and they invest heavily in their staff. They offer 25 days holiday (plus BHs), a matched pension scheme and will pay up to £25,000 for the right person.

The public transport in the area is irregular so it is essential you can drive to work on a daily basis.
