The Ashdown Group has been engaged to assist a professional services and finance sector business based in the Godalming area in their search for a new HR Officer. The role will be very broad in scope, covering everything from recruitment through to Employee Relations and will involve close, daily interaction with the Directors of the business and with senior staff across the group. Although mainly based in Godalming, some travel to other group offices in the London area will be required from time to time.
The successful candidate will be at least part CIPD qualified and should have a solid grasp of employment law and Employee Relations in particular. The organization has been through some changes recently and there are some simmering issues that will need to be dealt with and smoothed over. The ultimate goal will be to provide a rounded HR service to the business with a view to building a positive profile for HR at a local and group level.
Prior experience in a challenging HR role where managing Employee Relations has been key is essential and you will be comfortable talking about this experience in terms of your achievements and the impact that you had on the staff and the business. Requirement:
